You Are Not Alone in this End-Times Journey – Let’s Talk About Your Team

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Posted June 21, 2025 | End Times Watch | River Wilde

Yesterday we learned about Jesus and the atonement. We also learned about PRAYER being the First Go-To when we are troubled. Please share your thoughts in the comments, of what you were thinking as you studied this information. (This is also a great place to see what others are experiencing in our group).

Today, I’d like to talk about “Your Team.” Right now, in your life, who do you think is on your team to assist you in facing a new day, and dealing with the stress of what’s happening? (Many of you might say… “Just Me”) Oh… but you would be so wrong. Realizing your team members is SO IMPORTANT in facing challenge, so let’s review who is ACTUALLY on your team.

In addition to YOURSELF, here are the other team members that you might not be considering.

You are reading this blog, so weather you realize this or not, you have MYSELF, and everyone else who has subscribed to this blog on your team. Why is this important? First off, I truly feel that is my mission in life, to help others along the way in their mortal journey. I spend a great deal of time praying for all of you. I also would like to invite “The Team” of subscribers to pray for everyone on this blog. We all need your prayers, and you need ours. We are on your team!!!!! So, with this, know that you now have about 100 people praying for you each day.

Let’s keep going…Adding to the list of your team are three important “People”:

God, who is the Commander in Chief when it comes to the end times. He is in FULL CONTROL of everything that is happening. He is YOUR Leader… and more importantly, your Father.

God’s Love: A Holy, Unfailing Gift

The love of God is unlike any love known to man. It is pure, eternal, and without condition. The Scriptures declare:

“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”
—1 John 4:8 (KJV)

God’s love was most clearly revealed through the giving of His Son, Jesus Christ, for the salvation of mankind:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
—John 3:16 (KJV)

This is not a love earned by works or merit, but given freely:

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
—Romans 5:8 (KJV)

Nothing can separate us from this divine love:

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers… shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
—Romans 8:38–39 (KJV)

These scriptures were written for YOU. God wants you to know of the love that He has for you. He sees every event that will be happening to us in the future, and He has also prepared a way for us to be SAFE and Watched Over. He is the leader of your team, and is very much a part of it.

And YES, there’s more…

We’ve met Jesus Christ yesterday. He too is on your team. You now understand that He has felt EVERY Emotion that you have every felt, and are now feeling. He is one who understands you like no other.

In these perilous last days, when hearts fail for fear and the world grows darker, Jesus Christ stands as our unfailing support and captain of salvation. He is not distant—He is on our side.

Hebrews 13:5-6 (KJV) reminds us:
“For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

Whoa…Did you catch that?

“The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

That is exactly what our group is about. We all want to get to the point where we can say this…and mean it!

We can do this by realizing that Jesus Christ is our “Helper.” He is indeed on our team. Trusting Him, as you will come to learn, will eliminate the fear of what man can do to us. This requires so thought and effort to get to this level, so don’t be discouraged if you do not fully believe this right now. But, put it as one of your goals… To Trust in the Savior to a level where you have no fear as to what mankind can do to you.

Jesus is our helper—present, personal, and powerful. He has already shown His love for you, by making it possible for all of us to have our sins forgiven…to start new and fresh…CLEAN. This act of sacrifice suggests His commitment to YOU and me, and shows the love that He has for us.

He is our advocate before the Father:

1 John 2:1 (KJV) says, “And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”

When Satan accuses, Christ defends. When we fall, He lifts. When we weep, He weeps with us. I KNOW this to be a fact, for I have experienced this many times as I have wept in my closet. I have felt His comfort and understanding. This not just a sentence of words…It is a declaration of what I know to be true. His relationship with you and me is on such a deep level, please do not discount this. He cares about you far more than you realize right now.

He is also our shepherd, guiding and protecting us through the valleys of tribulation:

John 10:27-28 (KJV)“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

In the storm, He is our anchor.

Hebrews 6:19 (KJV)“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast.”

And in the final battle, He is our Warrior King.

Revelation 19:11 (KJV) – “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.”

He is coming to Battle for us…His fight is not with us; it is FOR US.

Jesus Christ is not watching from afar—He walks with us, fights for us, and promises to come again for us. In the last days, when the earth shakes and men’s hearts are troubled, we can rest assured that Jesus is on our team—our Savior, our shield, our soon-coming King.

God, and Jesus Christ are again leading our team. Their “Battle Plan” has already been determined, and…THEY WIN IN THE END! Are you realizing that you are on the winning team? You are. Knowing this is so very comforting, and gives us the courage to continue on each day.

The next “person” who is on your team is the Holy Ghost. What, or who is the Holy Ghost? Let’s learn more.

The Holy Ghost, also called the Holy Spirit in Scripture, is the third person of the Godhead and is the divine presence of God sent to dwell with and within believers. Did you catch that? The Holy Ghost is there for the people that believe in Jesus Christ.

He is a Comforter, a Teacher, and a Witness of truth. Jesus said in John 14:26 (KJV),

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

Think of it this way. There are many spiritual things that God wants to tell us. How does He tell us?… Through the Holy Ghost. You will know HIS VOICE as you think about the things that you have been praying about, and realize when ideas and thoughts come to your mind. They are not actual voices, but rather “thoughts, and promptings.” This is the Holy Ghost.

I jokingly have said that, “I think that the Holy Ghost lives in my shower.” The reason being is that when I take a shower, I am often inspired and taught new things about the topics that I have been praying about. It has nothing to do with the shower, but rather, taking time to just listen to my thoughts. No radio, no cell phone, just me and my thoughts. This is when the Holy Ghost will communicate with you.

The Holy Ghost is the “Radio Man” on your team. His purpose is to communicate Gods messages to you. There might be times in your future where you are in danger. The Holy Ghost will prompt you to avoid a situation, or whisper something to you in order to keep you safe. He is on your team.

Are we done with your team… NOPE! There’s more…

Did you know that most of our prayers are answered through other people’s assistance? That’s right. There are people on your team that you do not even know. When you pray, asking God for help, He will likely place other people in your life to answer your prayers.

They are people with skills, talents, or even just an understanding of what you might be going through. God places them in your life to assist you in finding the answers to your prayers. Recognizing that these people are on your team is refreshing. You never know who, or when, but people seem to show up in our lives because God is placing them there.

Some Others to Consider

Think of others who might be on your team…Family members, friends, therapists, church family, councilors, and sports teammates. Take a moment and list those that come to your mind when you think about who has supported you in the past. These people might not be spiritual in nature, but if they are providing support to you in any area of life, you should include them on your team.

And, you thought your team only consisted of yourself! Are you surprised? Are you grateful? Does this Help you?

We are not alone. We are not expected to face the future alone. Rather, God has given you a team. We are ALL going through the coming days together, it will never be just you alone. There is so much strength in knowing this.

Now, since you have realized that you are on a team, you also have an assignment to make this team more effective and stronger. As mentioned, we must all be praying for our team members, that they will have the strength to keep going. As we pray for the team, we also realize that the team is also praying for us. Let your prayers remind you of this.

Secondly, Just as God places people in your path to answer your prayers, just know that He will also be using YOU, and putting you in the lives of others to help them. Pray each day that you might be available for people who need you, and that God will call you off of the bench and put you in the game of someone who is struggling. There is so much POWER in being God’s helper and caring for others.

Some days it is us that need the help from others, and some days, we are indeed the helper that others need. Recognize how the team works and the dual responsibility that we have in this relationship.

As a young man, I often thought about, “What if I were to be drafted and go to war?” This stirred up many emotions of fear, and worry. To resolve my worry, I kept thinking that I would do all that I could to ensure that the man in the foxhole with me was the best fighter in our platoon. As I continued to think this process through, I came to realize that you and I are guaranteed that very thing.

In the battles that we face, we have God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost in our foxholes. They are leaders, and communicators who mission is to guide and protect us in our battles. Can it be any better than this?

Take time tonight in your prayers to thank God that you have such an awesome team who will be with you “At All Times.” Showing our appreciation will deepen this knowledge, and help eliminate our fear of the uncertainty that lies ahead.

I pray for all of you. Our platoon is STRONG because of what we all bring to the group. It is solidified through the leadership of our God, for He will see us through to the very end. Let us rejoice in our new found team, and let us begin to develop the faith in knowing these things for ourselves…knowing that they are REAL, and not just a part of a story.

Let us continue to draw closer to God through our studies of Him, is my prayer to leave with you today.

We are not strangers, and have been guided to this group for support and learning. Please join us by subscribing to our blog at www.endtimeswatch.blog .
